VersusGen ("we," "our," or "us") operates versusgen.com. This page explains what data we collect, how we use it, and your rights under CCPA and GDPR.

1. Information We Collect

VersusGen is a static, client-side tool. All schedule generation happens in your browser — we do not store your team names, tournament data, or CSV files on our servers.

We may collect limited data automatically through third-party services:

• Usage analytics: Page views, session duration, referring URLs (via Google Analytics or similar)
• Advertising data: Ad impressions and clicks via Google AdSense
• Browser metadata: Device type, browser version, screen resolution

2. Google AdSense

We use Google AdSense to display advertisements. Google may use cookies and device identifiers to show personalized ads based on your browsing history. To opt out of personalized advertising, visit adssettings.google.com.

Google's use of advertising cookies is governed by their Privacy Policy.

3. AI / Anthropic API

This site does not currently use the Anthropic Claude API or any other AI inference service. If this changes, we will update this policy to reflect what data is sent to AI providers and how it is handled.

VersusGen itself does not set first-party cookies. Third-party services (Google Analytics, Google AdSense) may set cookies on your device. You can manage cookie preferences through your browser settings or a consent management tool.

We do not store tournament data on our servers. Analytics data is retained per the retention settings of our analytics provider (typically 14–26 months).

9. Children's Privacy

VersusGen is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

We may update this policy periodically. The updated date at the top of this page will reflect any changes.
